Chelsea joined Lavender Hoffman Emery, LLC in April of 2022. She focuses her practice on the defense of physicians, hospitals, nurses, and other healthcare providers in cases involving allegations of medical malpractice and negligence. Chelsea began her career as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department. Her experience as a healthcare provider allows her to connect with her clients and understand the nuances of each medical case.
For the last 10 years, Chelsea has spent time in every facet of the medical malpractice field. Prior to joining Lavender Hoffman Emery, Chelsea worked as a claims analyst for a prominent medical malpractice insurer. She also spent several years litigating medical malpractice cases representing both plaintiff patients and defendant healthcare providers. Her experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in medical malpractice litigation gives her a well-rounded perspective so that she can zealously represent her clients.
Chelsea is a native of Atlanta. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 2004 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in 2007. In 2013, Chelsea earned her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law.
